Here’s a drawing I did a few years ago for Tidewater Parent Magazine, a tabloid freebie for anxious parents in the Norfolk VA area. The picture was for the cover of their Summer Camp Special insert.
The idea is… well, you get the idea.
Okay, I’m outa here. Gotta go. In the meantime, keep practicing your EZIGAMI, and I will see you on Monday.

The idea behind this picture is really great. Parents are really worried about their kids especially in summer vacations. It’s better to send their kids in camps which are accredited and approved by American Camping Association. iD Tech camps are ACA accredited at various locations, and all camps meet and surpass much of the criteria set forth by ACA.

Actually the idea behind the picture is that although the reality of camp may be so mundane as a yellow school bus, the camper’s imagination supplies the thrill of travelling in a Conestoga wagon and experiencing the Wild West. It’s about the adventure of camp, however illusory, not the safety of accreditation. I meant to show the kid’s point of view, not the parents’.
